Our clinic is a full service optometric eye and vision health clinic located in the Killarney area of east Vancouver.  Our doctors perform comprehensive eye health exams that test for all eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, infections, allergies and ocular-motor disorders.

We also diagnose systemic diseases like diabetes, hypertension and cancer, which show up in the eyes first.  An important part of our practice is involves diagnosing and treating eye movement disorders, binocular vision problems and visual perceptual skills deficits.  We provide prescriptions for eye glasses, contacts, special lenses, pharmaceuticals for eye allergies and eye infections.

We are also available for eye emergencies for patients who suffered trauma or injury to their eye, who have a foriegn body embedded in the eye or who have had any sudden change in their vision.  Often emergency surgery is required and we arrange for a surgeon to see the patient as soon as possible.

We have one of the largest vision therapy practices in Vancouver where we treat children and adults who have eye and vision problems that cannot be treated with lenses.  We have successfully treated many patients with binocular disorders such as convergence insufficiency, accomodative dysfunction, amblyopia, strabismus, and brain injuries where vision is impacted. We have also provided vision therapy for patients who have deficits in visual information processing or visual perceptual skills.

With strabismus, many of our patients have been able to avoid the risks and complications of strabismus surgery.

An doctor's eye exam is one of the best things you can do for your overall health.  It can even save your life. Brain tumors, cancer and diabetes are often diagnosed first in the eyes - early enough to initiate treatment which could save your life.  Remember, the earlier we catch a disease the easier it is to beat it.
